Every year I get together with some friends and we walk and we talk and we talk and we walk….and sometimes we just walk because there is a big hill and talking is just not an option. We pick a new city each year to do this: San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, Philly, DC, Boston, Minneapolis, Atlanta and this year is MICHIGAN!
We see a bit of the sites, we catch up on each other’s lives, we walk 60 miles in 3 days, we lance a few blisters and we feel the accomplishment that we are getting that much closer to a cure for breast cancer.
Thank you for supporting me and my quest to eradicate breast cancer.
Snapshots is a collection of one-act plays started in 2004 to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. This annual benefit will run for 6 nights (July 24-26 & July 31-Aug 2 2015) at the Stella Adler Theater in Hollywood, CA.
Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure® and the 3-Day for the Cure, the organization has invested more than $1.9 billion to fulfill its promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
Thank you so very much for your support. Your presence at our benefit contributes to the effort to find a cure for a disease that affects so many.
